Brain Power’s summer Grade 9 Math Preparation workshop is designed to ensure that students entering Grade 9 in the fall (September 2024) are prepared for high-school math and the new de-streamed curriculum.

Students will master the key skills they need to know before entering Grade 9, including those relating to numeracy; geometry; algebra; ratios, rates and proportions; linear functions; financial literacy and data management. They will also dive into some new concepts that will be introduced in the new Grade 9 de-streamed curriculum (excluding coding).

This workshop is suitable for students who are currently enrolled in Brain Power’s full-year courses and those that are new to Brain Power.
