Creative Writing
GRADES: 4-5 & 6-8
Creative Writing is a classic workshop that inspires students to engage with various types of imaginative writing.
Far from being a cursory overview, every class will delve into a different genre of creative work, ranging from short stories to personal essays, plays, and poems.
Students will get a chance, under expert guidance from published authors, to workshop their own inventive, original texts.
The goal is not only to show the different mediums that provide a distinctive shape and structure to language, but the course also will ensure students improve their writing skills as they learn to craft stronger sentences and understand how best to organize their imaginative thoughts.
