SuitUp/Snapchat Competition

Brain Power students participated in an innovative business pitch completion with SuitUp and Snapchat! What an amazing opportunity! At Brain Power we know two of the cornerstones of great enrichment education are analyzing and creating. Business competitions like this challenge students to think on their feet, adopt a growth mindset and perfect their communication skills. We are so proud of all the participants!

Mahaara Bhimani in Speaker’s Idol Finals

What an exciting month! Brain Power Public Speaking student Mahaara Bhimani has been selected to compete at the junior-high level in the Speaker’s Idol 2022 finals! WHAT AN HONOUR!
THAT’S AMAZING! The Speaker’s Idol finals will be broadcast on May 4! WE WILL ALL BE CHEERING YOU ON, MAHAARA!

Brain Power Students in SuitUp Business Competition

Brain Power students recently had the honour of competing in the annual North American SuitUp business competition.  Amongst many excellent teams, our very own Brain Power team won first prize for their innovative pitch – prepared and delivered within tight timelines and virtual collaboration! Leon Gaikovoi in Catalyst 2022 Summer Program

Brain Power student Leon Gaikovoi has been selected to participate in the Catalyst 2022 Summer Program! Catalyst is an initiative of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo, and it creates opportunities for high-school youth to increase awareness, confidence and leadership abilities in engineering, science, and technology. Dr. Karine Rashkovsky Awarded Order of Vaughan

JANUARY 11TH, 2022

On December 21, 2021,  Dr. Karine Rashkovsky, Founder and Director of Brain Power, received the Order of Vaughan, which “recognizes individuals who have been influential in shaping our city and contributed to the greater good of the community.” At the ceremony, Karine accepted her award from Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua, and several Brain Power alumni presented heartfelt speeches about their journeys through the years with Brain Power.
