We are pleased to announce that our very own Dr. Ryan Fics will be participating in the “Generative AI and the Future of Education” event at co-hosted by the Schwartz Reisman Institute and the Centre for Ethics at the University of Toronto! We are very proud to support our instructors in their independent academic pursuits!

Location & Time: The Nexus Lounge on the 12th floor of OISE (252 Bloor St. West) from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.

The event will feature a moderated interdisciplinary panel of four speakers sourced from SRI and the Centre for Ethics’ research communities. Each speaker will have time to introduce themselves, their areas of focus, and their interest in the topic (approx. 10 minutes), followed by a 40-minute open discussion centred on a few guiding questions which are still under review. Finally, the event will conclude with a Q&A.
