Elizabeth (Summer Language Arts 3-4, above left) and Alfie (Entrance Exam Prep, above right) are both reading classic childrens’ books with animals as the main characters.  Elizabeth is following the hardships of the rabbits searching for a new home in Watership Down by Richard Adams. Alfie is reading about the adventures of Mrs. Frisby, a widowed field mouse, and her alliance with a group of former laboratory rats in Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O’Brien.

Ilana (Intermediate 2 – above left) and Jennifer (Public Speaking alumna – above right) have decided to explore the classics this summer! Ilana has joined Phileas Fogg on his daring attempt to circumnavigate the globe in Jules Verne’s thrilling adventure classic, Around the World in 80 Days. Meanwhile, Jennifer has travelled back in time to 17th-century France to join in the swashbuckling adventures of The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas.

Amelia (above left) and Damon (above right) (Summer Language Arts 3-4) are both midway through the magical adventures of Harry Potter and his wizard friends in the fourth novel in J. K. Rowling’s famous children’s fantasy series: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.  They are enjoying every minute of the fantastic adventure!
