SPECIAL NOTE: Our intention is still to offer both in-class and virtual online options for our Fall/Winter programs, so that clients can choose which way they wish to learn.
When we do offer in-class options, we will be following strict protocol for the health and safety of our students and staff, and ensuring we not only adhere to government requirements but exceed safety expectations.
More information on our live online distance learning can be found HERE.
Date & Time: Sundays 6:45-8:45, Sept. 20-Oct. 25, 2020
We have tailored our four-lesson University Applications workshop to address the issues of most interest to university-bound students: choosing a university, finding and applying for scholarships (and other funding), writing special application essays, presenting oneself well in interviews and recorded applications, and some of the most common concerns about first year (e.g. time management, dealing with professors and teaching assistants, living in residence). Though the schedule is subject to change, the tentative breakdown of material over the four lessons is as follows:
- Choosing a University, Finding Scholarships, Special Applications & Essays – Part 1
- Special Applications & Essays – Part 2
- Interviews (and Recorded Applications)
- First-Year Tips (Time Management, Professors & Teaching Assistants, etc.)
